Why I Started This Blog and What I Pray It Becomes
Hello and welcome to Faith in Bloom! I’m so glad you’re here.
Starting this blog has been on my heart for a while and what began as a class project grew into something bigger in a matter of hours. I decided that I would use this as an opportunity to create the platform I had been thinking about for months. A platform to share my faith, my story, and the lessons God is teaching me. I don’t want this to just be a website with words. I pray it becomes a space where encouragement flows, truth is shared, and community is built.
I’ve always believed that faith is not meant to be lived in isolation, even though I am an introvert. We weren’t created to walk this journey alone. Scripture reminds us in Hebrews 10:24–25, “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together… but encouraging one another.” That’s the purpose of this space. To encourage, uplift, and grow together in Christ.
Here’s what you can expect from this blog:
Personal reflections – honest stories from my own faith journey, including struggles and victories.
Biblical encouragement – lessons rooted in Scripture that can guide us through everyday life.
Practical faith – how to apply God’s truth in real, daily situations.
Community connection – a space to share, connect, and remind each other of God’s love and grace.
Why did I decide to start? Because I’ve seen firsthand how even a simple word of encouragement can change someone’s day or even their direction. I have experienced in my own life what having a friend pointing you back to God can do for your life. God’s Word is alive and active, and I want to be faithful in using my voice to share His truth. If even one person draws closer to Christ through these posts, it will all be worth it.
So whether you’re here looking for encouragement, answers, or just a reminder that God is near, I pray you find it here. Together.
Rooted in Scripture, growing in grace. 🌿
Thank you for being here at the very beginning of this journey. I can’t wait to see what God will do.
With grace and gratitude,
Brianna
